Phosphorus, nitrogen and carbon are essential nutrients for aquatic ecosystems. They control the growth of plants and phytoplankton which affects the health of an ecosystem. UFI routinely analyzes water samples for these nutrients in order to provide data that is key to understanding aquatic ecosystems and assessing nutrient loading.
