Call for Poster presentations
(note: there is no publication requirement for poster presentations)
Deadline: poster titles and Abstract (electronic version) must be received at the following address (
) by Thursday, November 08, 2007.
Guidelines: Researchers, educators, consultants, regulators and students are invited to give poster presentations on topics related to Onondaga Lake, its tributaries and/or the Seneca River, and other New York surface waters. Many professionals prefer the poster format to that of an oral presentation, as one-on-one exchanges are facilitated. The posters will be on display throughout the Forum. The Forum's program will dedicate at least 2 hours exclusively to the poster presentations. Topics may include, but are not limited to: (a) published research
(b) engineering studies, including waste treatment and rehabilitation technologies and methods
(c) on-going research and studies
(d) education programs
(e) any other related program descriptions
The available poster display board will be of the size 4 feet x 8 feet. Legibility and engaging presentation formats are key features of successful posters. We recommend potential presenters review guidelines for effective poster presentations. If extra table space is required (e.g., for handouts) please let us know by Thursday, November 08, 2007 at (
