summer internAs in past years, UFI continues to work with students and schools. Last summer, UFI employsummer field interned an intern from Michigan Technological University, giving her the opportunity to work in various areas of environmental research. UFI also supported graduate students from the State University of New York - College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF). These students conducted research on public health issues for a municipal water supply.

Over the years, UFI has hired many college and graduate students for summer positions. A number of these students have gone on to various universities and permanent jobs in related professional areas.
